Carrie Dendtler is author of The Parenting Passageway blog, a resource for peaceful parenting, and a Waldorf homeschooling mother of three children. She has many years of observing children and working with families as a neonatal/pediatric physical therapist, board-certified lactation consultant, and positive parenting and homeschooling consultant for her local area.
Carrie has written articles for the Little Acorn Newsletter and The Magic Onions. She has spoken on Donna Ashton’s The Waldorf Connection show previously regarding parenting during the first seven year cycle and within her local area on Waldorf Education and parenting issues. She is a member of the Anthroposophical Society in America and is currently enrolled in a long-distance anthroposophical learning program through EduCareDo.
Sharifa Oppenheimer
Sharifa Oppenheimer is the author of the best-selling book "Heaven on Earth: A Handbook for Parents of Young Children". She also worked collaboratively to create "What is a Waldorf Kindergarten". She was the founding teacher of the Charlottesville Waldorf School, Virginia, where she taught kindergarten for twenty-one years and served as Day Care Director of the Early-Childhood Program. She has written many articles on Waldorf education, helping the parents of her students create supportive home environments.Recently she initiated a home-based kindergarten program, The Rose Garden. Sharifa also travels offering lectures and workshops to school and parent groups, encouraging each one to discover their own healthy, heartfelt Family Culture. Danielle Epifani
Danielle Epifani is a Waldorf Early Childhood educator whose work came about, like many through the birth of her son. Her home program Margaret's Garden, located in Berkeley, CA serves families with children ages 18 mos to 6 years old. Lisa Boisvert Mackenzie
Lisa first became involved in Waldorf education twelve years ago when her first child was young. Lisa runs The Children's Garden, a Day Nursery that works out of anthroposophical perspective. She is also homeschooling her eldest child. Connie Manson--BA, MSEd., founded Starlite Puppets in 1990. She has shared music and the magic of puppetry with children as a parent/toddler, nursery and kindergarten teacher, and as a professional storyteller/puppeteer in various settings throughout the United States for over twenty years. Connie enjoys leading workshops for parents, performing artists and teachers in singing, plant dyeing, puppet making, and puppetry production.
